I’m Dr Mridula Amarnath, an experienced ophthalmologist with a passion for helping patients improve their eye health and its functionality through various preventive and corrective measures. I have diverse work background in rural as well as urban set up and In-depth knowledge of the various diseases and treatment strategies.
This is my personal website and I write on topics related to Health and Medicine, especially, Ophthalmology related. I also am a passionate Classical dancer and is a regular on-stage performer.

Dr. Mridula Amarnath is passion for dance personified. Acclaimed as a creative and versatile artist, Mridula was initiated into the realm of Bharatnatyam at the tender age of 4 years under Guru Smt. Jayanthi Thyagarajan. She later underwent rigorous training under the meticulous tutelage of Guru Smt. Chitra Vinod, Karnatake Kalasree Guru B. Bhanumathi and Karnatake Kalasree Shradamani Sekhar.
Mridula has also learnt Mohiniyattam from Karnataka and Kerala Kalasree Guru Smt Sreedevi Unni and has also mastered the art of contemporary dance. Mridula has completed the Senior and Junior grade Bharatnatyam dance examination with distinction and was a rank holder for the Vidwat examination conducted by the Karnataka Education Board.
Mridula has extensively toured the country and has had the opportunity to perform at various prestigious dance festivals. She has also staged a myriad of performances in association with the Indian council for cultural relations. Over a period of time Mridula has inculcated a style that amalgamates the delicacies of Bharatnatyam with the intricacies of modern day issues. She believes in the power of dance for spreading awareness towards social issues.
